Skipping ropes
Jumping is a great way to get in shape! There is evidence that jogging for 20 minutes burns as many calories as jogging for 30 minutes. Skipping sets the whole body in motion and you use both the big and all the small muscles in the body.
You can jump in many different ways - Power jump and Cardio jump.
Power jumping is jumping with a heavy rope that has a heavy rope. This provides extra strength training for the whole body. Especially the neck, shoulders and calves.
Cardio skipping is skipping with e.g. speed ropes. The idea here is to get as much speed as possible and thus as many small jumps as possible in a short time. This puts the pulse completely in the air and acidifies the body in a different way than with Power jumping. Cardio jumping is mainly used to increase fitness.
